A Fun Christmas Tradition for When the Family is Apart

Are you looking for something to connect your family while celebrating the season apart. Here’s an idea: 

A couple of years ago J and I were out of town for two weeks before Christmas. Also at that time we had a missionary, a few college kids, and a few kids at home. So, being separated leading up to Christmas we did a fun thing. 

We sent all of our kids a stuffed elf. 

The instruction was to take pictures of their elf throughout the month and text them to the family chat.

It was silly. It was simple. It brought us together.
